Pelumi Omoniyi is a student of the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos Who has experienced the power struggle in the world through participation in various international MUN conferences. Apart from MUN, Pelumi spends his time reading, playing video games and understanding the dynamics of various societies. Pelumi also enjoys participating in public speaking competitions. He will be serving as the Secretary General of the Lagos Model United Nations 2018 Conference.
Gracious Ernest is a 500 level LL.B student at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She is passionate about her faith and storytelling. Gracious is an ardent MUNer and continues to participate both as a delegate and staff at various national and international MUNs. She has served in the LMUN for three years and is committed to actualizing the SDGs by 2030. Recently, she was selected as part of the Women Deliver Young Leaders Class of 2018 in her drive for gender equality and achieving women’s right. Gracious hopes to become fluent in four languages by 2020 and is passionate about leading the next generation of policy makers and global influencers.
Nadine Okoeguale is a young and dynamic Law Student at the University of Lagos who moonlights as a freelance writer with keen interest in languages and literature while she hopes to spend her life making positive impact in society. She attended her first Model United Nations Conference at the age of 14 and has, since then, been both delegate and staff in MUN Conferences at Lagos, Abuja and Washington D.C. Nadine has participated in various public speaking and debate competitions enabling her to garner experience and expertise in the areas of research and public speaking. She is glad to be the first female Chief of Staff of LMUN and looks forward to welcoming you at LMUN 2018.
Nelson Iheanacho is a 300 level law student, University of Lagos. He is passionate about issues in the local and global spheres and encourages youth participation in solving these issues. He was a delegate at the Lagos Model United Nations 2016 and a Research staff at the Lagos Model United Nations 2017. He is the Assistant Chief of Staff for Lagos Model United Nations 2018 with a firm resolve to serve you at the conference.
Oluwatobi Oluwasanya is a 500 level student of the faculty of Law, University of Lagos. She is passionate about literature, art and the law and firmly believes in the power of young people to jointly impact and change the world order. She has represented the faculty at several Moot and Debate competitions alike. She was a delegate at the 2016 National Model United Nations New York and served as the Chair of the Executive Council of the African Union at the Lagos Model United Nations 2017 conference. She is currently the Assistant Secretary General of the 2018 Lagos Model U.N. conference and is honored to serve at the LMUN 2018 conference.
Ipinnuoluwa Ade-Ademilua is a 400 level student of the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos. He has participated in various debates, public speaking and Moot court Competitions. He received the best position paper and best delegate awards for his committee at LMUN 2016. He is a member of various organisations, serving in various capacities, including as Director of Research for LMUN 2018.
Olamide Sholabomi is a Student if the University of Lagos. He was the Assistant Chief of Staff of LMUN in 2016. He also participated in the National Model United Nations conference in New York. He believes that the rule of law plays the ultimate role in ensuring equality and development in the World. He has an interest in International Criminal Law and participated in the Nuremberg International Criminal Court Moot, Nuremberg Germany. He will be serving as the Under-Secretary General of the General Assembly at the Lagos Model United Nations 2018.
Odinaka Hilary Ekezie is a 500 level student of the faculty of law University of Lagos. He was a delegate at the 2016 National Model United Nations New York. He served as Rapporteur and Chair of the Security Council in LMUN 2016 and 2017 respectively. He is currently the USG of political affairs as well as ECOSOC and is delighted to serve you in the LMUN 2018.
Obarakpo Esse is a 500 level student of the faculty of law University of Lagos. She was a delegate at the 2016 National Model United Nations New York. She served as Rapporteur of the General Assembly at the LMUN 2017. She is currently the Under Secretary General of the African Union for LMUN 2018.
Tumininu Kolawole is a 400 level student of the Faculty of law, University of Lagos. A God lover, legal enthusiast and recently exposed to MUN’s, she has this to say, ‘ Getting involved in MUNs is an eye-opener that one can be a problem solver even in the most infinitesimal way.’ Tumininu is a brooding human rights advocate and is currently the President of the Human Rights Clinic, University of Lagos. She is glad to serve as the USG, Finance for LMUN 2018.
Omena Akpobome is a 500 level Law Student at the University of Lagos. She has participated at both the Cambridge and Oxford MUN Conferences and this is her third time serving as staff at LMUN as she has previously occupied the positions of Head of Media and Assistant Chief of Staff in LMUN 2017 respectively. In her spare time, Omena enjoys reading African literature. She is happy to welcome you at LMUN 2018.
Oguntolu Mobolaji Oluwatosin is a 500 level LL.B student at the University of Lagos. He was a delegate at the 2017 Harvard model United Nations Massachusetts and also a delegate at the 2017 Oxford Model United Nations London. He served as Staff and Head of logistics in LMUN 2016 and 2017 respectively. He is currently serving as the Under Secretary General Conference Services I.
